We're super excited that it is time again for our Scrapbook Garage Sale. Get rid of that old stuff that you don't use anymore and get money to use towards new papers, tools and soooo much more.
Interested in bring your items to sell? There is a $10 seller fee and you can brign as much new and gently used scrapbboking items that you want to sell. You will be given a seller number that you will mark on all of your items along with your price in advance. Items will then need to be dropped off to the store by Thursday, March 15th. Stop by the store anytime to pay your fee, sign a contract and get your seller number.

Join us a we create 4 yummy original recipe pages. This months theme is Halloween and it is jam packed full of new amazing techniques. We will be playing with a amazing product called "inkagold," Distress Stains, Embossing folders, New Semi-Gloss paints, fuzzy sparkley fluff and more.
Basic supplies needed: trimmer, black pen, black ink and inking tool, scissors, pop and glue dots, clear glitter pen. Other helpful supplies if you have them: black and yellow stickles, paper scraper/distresser, hot glue gun.
Cricut 101 Class: (This is for the original, create and expression #1)

Class fee: $15
In this class you will learn the in's and out's of your Cricut machine. You will leave knowing what all those dials and buttons do. Also how to make you mats last longer, how to adjust your pressures and what not to do to avoid erasing our cartridges. You will also how to draw shapes and cut them out with the cricut pens. This is a hands on class. You will bring your machine, everything it came with in the box new and adhesive. We will then guide you through all the button pushing.
Card Swap
We have a monthly card swap that you can join for FREE. All you have to do is make 1 card design multiple times with envelopes and then place them in a zip lock bag with your name on it. The cards are due at the end of the month. Then you can pick up your swapped cards at the beginning of the next month. If you have any ideas for card swap themes, we would love to hear them. Drop us an e-mail.

Please call, e-mail or stop by the store by the 15th of each month and let us know if you are going to participate in that months swap. Then on the 16th I will have the correct number of cards that you will need to complete for that month. This way you make sure you get one of everyones cards and you don't have to make extra's.
For 2012 we are going to try some new things with our card swap. Instead of having a "theme" each month we are now going to call it a "challenge." I feel like I've been in a crafting rut after the holidays, so I think a challenge each month would be a great way to get more creative, try something new and help inspire new things.

Challenge for February: Creative Die Cuts
Go beyond the basics and get clever with your die cuts. Find inspiration utilizing different materials like ribbon, lace, fabric, tissue and more. You can also gain insights in using die cuts for windows or embrace the negative of the cut out. Cards are Due: Feb. 29th.
