Between I-70 (Sedalia) and I-44 (Springfield)

Directions from I-70

I-70 to Highway 65 South – Sedalia exit – travel (18) miles to Sedalia
From Sedalia, on Highway 65, continue south toward Lincoln, (24) miles
Continue thru Lincoln (1) mile to Hwy H turning east

Travel (11) miles, approximately 20 minutes on H to Lake Road H-25 (Heit’s Point Ave).
Turn right on Lake Rd H-25 (about 2 city blocks past Lakeway Quick Shop)
Camp Entrance is one (1) mile on the right

Frequently Asked Question:

When is our final payment due?

Answer: One month before the event. So for the March retreat the due date is Feb. 1st.

Can we still sign up after the Feb. 1st deadline?

Yes we will take registrations up until the week of the retreat, IF we still have spots open.

Do we have to bring our own linens?

Answer: No, Sheet, blanket, pillows and towels are provided.

Can we bring an extra table?

No you can not bring your own table. We are limited on the amount of space and there is just not enough room for everyone to bring a table. We do give you the option to upgrade to a 8 foot table for $25 which is more than enough space for a weekend crop.

What time can we arrive?

Check in starts at 3:00 on Friday. You will not be able to get into the building before this time. We need to be able to have plenty of time to get tables, rooms, the store and everything set up before you arrive.

A variety of tools will be available for your use including a Cricut and/or Expression with many cartridges. Please bring your own mat.

Registration will be limited to the first 75 participants per session – we will crop in the cafeteria area of Heit’s Point. We expect to have a full house

Deposit - 50% deposit of total retreat cost will reserve your spot. Once your retreat is paid in full, you will receive a packet with further information and one 10% off coupon to use prior to the retreat at the store to pre-purchase supplies.

Cancellation policy –

90% refund if cancelled by:

March retreat-cancel by January 1

November retreat-cancel by September 1

50% refund if cancelled by:

March retreat-cancel by February 1

November retreat-cancel by October 1

NO refund after:

March retreat: February 1

November retreat: October 1

Room, Meals and Cost - Our crop room will be in the Spitz Center – we have the whole building reserved. There is an indoor pool & fitness center in the Spitz Center. The weekend includes meals, lodging, prizes, goodies, and lots of fun.

Check In/Out – Check-in is on Friday anytime after 3:00. Check-out is Sunday. On Sunday, croppers may stay and scrap until 5 pm provided there are no other scheduled functions at Heit’s Point. If you stay to crop Sunday, all belongings need to be out of the sleeping quarters by noon. Plan to bring snacks; the last meal served is breakfast Sunday morning. The closest town is Lincoln, about 20 minutes away.

We will reserve 4 seats per table grouping.

Optional classes and a variety of make & take activities will be offered during the weekend. You will be able to sign up for classes as you arrive. Classes aim to teach techniques and product use ideas.

Heit’s Point now has a Sony PictureStation that prints 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6 pictures from digital media (It will not accept jump drives.)

A massage therapist will be available during the retreat –

· $15 for 15 minutes or $30 for 30 minutes

· Sign-up for your massage with your retreat registration to guarantee your massage.

· Anyone wanting to sign-up for a massage after arrival at Heit’s Point will be scheduled as time allows.

(This has been such a popular option at other retreats; pre-sign up helps us to assure that we can accommodate anyone wanting a massage.)
